Bosh Battles
A university project in collaboration with game design students at Falmouth University, I was taken on as the sole sound designer and composer for Bosh Battles.
CHARACTER SELECTION SOUND DESIGN DEMO
Sound Design is a large part of creating intuitive experiences, especially when you want to save on lengthy tutorials in game. By creating foley for character selection, the player instinctively knows how the process works without it having to be explained to them.
BOSH BATTLES OST - INDESTRUCTIBLE
Indestructible started out as an attempt to create a Two Steps From Hell-esque ode to Bosh Battles, but quickly turned into a passion project, the creative process of which went viral on TikTok at the time. The choir heard in the song is over 50 layers of my own voice processed through 3 distinct layers of convolution reverb to create the effect of being in a real concert hall, while the orchestra is 100% VST plugin instruments.

Though the process of creating this project was cut short by COVID-19 interrupting our final year of university, we still managed to get several working demos released including this short example of the dynamic sound design in player combat scenarios.
